Hi, I'm back...
I haven't actually been anywhere
just sitting here waiting for the Internet to be
re-connected following the theft...
right out the front of our house
of the copper wiring from the
BT (telecom) box!
And, to be quite honest, I don't have a
lot of inspiration at the moment...
so I've been scouring the photo files
and I have come up with these
shots...the result of a walk around the
village quite a few weeks ago...
Now, I must warn you...if you are allergic
to gluten, look away...
Because, there is fields and fields of wheat
surrounding the village.
England is beautiful and green at the moment
and the villager's gardens are full of colour...
Just a few peonies on this bush...
and bloomin roses are everywhere.
There's even a few lambs around...
this one's the black sheep of the family!!
Great photos Robynne, made me smile all the way through... love the close up of the wheat shot and those lovely roses with a grey weathered fence for a background, so lovely x
ReplyDeleteHi Robynne, my head is spinning in complete disbelief! They stole copper wire...excuse me!!!! Why? Well, well done you for carrying on regardless! Your village stroll was delightful and the squirrel pictures made me smile. Have a lovely relaxing Sunday, and many thanks for your comments, love Linda x
ReplyDeleteHey Rob! Was wondering where you had got to...great pics of the surrounds...so nice to see what life is like "back home". You still gotta tell me which village you are in! Have a great day. Rob2 x
ReplyDeleteHello Robynne
ReplyDeleteI love your stroll through the village. With pictures like this one does not need to write much.
Sometimes we have the best scenery in our own area.
Beautiful post and wishing you a great week
xx
Jeez, I can't believe how bad it is gotten in England. My mum was telling me that the lead has been stolen off the village church three times!!! Lovely pictures. So green. It's so hot here, that it's a up hill battle to try and keep my garden looking lush! Have a great Sunday!! Lx
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, love the green tunnel. I was surprised to see the peonies, ours were over, deadheaded weeks ago now, yet where you are, they are still blooming.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your walk.
The black sheep is soooo cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you for that lovely walk around the village. Isn't that squirrel the cutest?

Sorry to hear about the theft and your problems, though I am not completely surprised - there is a lot of petty theft that goes on in the UK. Internet problems are a pain when you are used to being online.
